Motion Gallery is an exquisitely beautiful art gallery that is located in the city of Calgary. Motion Gallery frequently hosts live art exhibits, monthly events, and classes that are designed for the vibrant art community. Aside from that, Motion Gallery can also be booked for different types of private events. Motion Gallery has a total space of 2500 square feet, which is decorated with a diverse set of wonderful artworks by 20 local artists. Motion Gallery houses a 550-square-foot event space, with a 205-square-foot coffee shop that can be used for functions for serving foods and drinks. It also contains a 700-square-foot area for artist studios, a 450-square-foot area for permanent art exhibits, and 2 washrooms. Motion Gallery can accommodate up to 50 guests for events with alcohol and 110 guests for events without alcohol. Whether you are planning to host a corporate event, a birthday celebration, a cocktail reception, a fundraising event, a live music affair, a Christmas party, or a wedding reception, Motion Gallery is the venue that will make your function successful and memorable.
Rental of the venue includes the following: 2 on-site washroom facilities, 4 easels, 4 tables and black cloths, 15+ chairs, 3 benches, and 1 sofa. Motion Gallery has a B Class Liquor License, and they will be able to provide at least 1 ServPro staff for your event. Other event essentials such as drinks, snacks, food, plates, cups, glasses, additional decorations, posters, and DJ entertainment will not be provided by Motion Gallery. However, the gallery has an extensive music playlist that features various genres and styles.
