Chow Auditorium can be configured to handle various types of functions including dinner parties, wedding receptions, dance parties, conventions, concerts, plays, and elections, among others. It features a stage which is equipped with professional lighting and sound equipment. The Calgary Chinese Cultural Centre's Cultural Hall features a 70-foot high ceiling with intricate paintings of dragons and phoenixes. Four central columns support the ceiling, and each column is meticulously hand-decorated with genuine gold that represents the four seasons. The Cultural Hall can be booked for various private functions.
